Oregon Scientific HR102 Heart Rate Monitor

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Value
Really just bought this as a transmitter for our running machine. It can be a pain to have to hold the machine to get a heart rate. The transmitter works well and the machine picked up the signal and I'm delighted. (Horizon Paragon). John

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Completely useless for resting HR
Does not pick up a resting HR signal at all. And I know I'm not dead.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Worst choice ever!
I bought it for my father and used it only once before it breaks out. The watch simply can't receive the signal from the strap and the HR monitor is totally out of use..............

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not Good Value
I agree with many of the reviewers that found the readings unstable. It jumps from 88 to over 160 and back again, and after a short while, the strap looses connection to the watch(this is with new batteries and the unit is less than 2 months old)
I changed this for a Polar FS1 from Tescos for £14.50!!!! and i'ts much better.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - You get what you pay for!
It worked great for about 2 months until the display just froze. Replacing the battery had no effect so it ended up in the bin!
