I've used MCAfee internet suites before and I can honestly say that I will never again. When installed they do not do a good enough job in my opinion. I use Windows Live onecare and PC Tools spyware doctor and this combination has been second to none.

Internet security suites are all the rage at the moment as we worry about cyber-criminals just waiting for us to let our online guard down for a moment. This contains the usual stuff, anti-virus, firewall etc and McAfee is a big name in the field.

We have used the multi-licence McAfee Security Suite for several years now on several PCs. Everything seemed to be working fine, although it did seem to slow down all PCs that it was run on significantly. If you want a scanner that finds tracker cookies then this is not for you - doesn't look for them so doesn't find them. Better to go for something like AVG or adaware which are free and do the job.
