Swaddling in the early months is thought (by some) to assist babies to sleep. It suppresses the moro reflex (or the jerking effects of it) and gives security to the baby. The Grobag Cotton Swaddling Wrap meets these aims. The only problem I had with it was that it is quite 'short'. I don't think my baby is particularly 'tall' but he would regularly get his feet free of the wrap. Rating: - a new born must
Got given this as a gift and it is extremely useful. Really great in the first few days to help your baby feel snuggled and safe. Great later on as you're able to wrap up your baby more loosely and he/she has wriggle room but can't kick off the blanket.
