Rating: - Faulty machine?
I bought this machine in the hope that the rats would be killed and my house would be safe - given that I have a 5 months infant. However, after weeks of waiting, I notice that the bait is gone and the rat droppings are still very much visible. I read other reviews and realized that middle plate is the one that emits shock. Rating: - It Works!
What more can you say? Ok the batteries are a pain to fit but when you eventually do it works a treat.
You can rid yourselves of the problem in a humane way and no mess so you don't have to come down to a decapitated body in the morning.
I was dubious at first but out of desperation had to get this device as we are plagued with mice.
Great stuff!

Rating: - DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought one and after leaving it on for one week it stopped working. It costs £6 to fill it up with batteries. I thought it has used all the battery life in one week so i bought more batteries but the device had short circuited or something. So i returned it via Amazon (who have a very effective return process) and had another one delivered. I put my new batteries in the new device and this one did not even turn on! What a complete waste of time and money.
