I started cubing at christmas when i was presented with my first 3x3x3 cube. I was determined to master the thing. Eventually i was able to do it and i'm working hard to get a quick time.
I decided to go for a little harder challenge and so the 4x4x4 was the obvious next step. It was a challenge but knowledge from the 3x3x3 one makes it easier to pick up strategies and techniques. Once you master this the 3x3x3 seems so much more simple. This is deffinutly a good buy for people wanting more ...

I recently bought a 3x3x3 classic rubiks cube of which i found extremely
entertaining yet when i began to master it, thought of it slightly easy.
I decided to put my money where my mouth is and go for the 4x4x4 cube.
It is a lot harder as there is no center square yet there is such fun

If you have mastered the 3x3x3 cube get this!!!
If you cannot do the 3x3x3 cube, don't!! unless of course you are willing
to undertake ...

This is (maybe obviously) rather much more tricky than the standard 3x3x3 cube.

Then there are further complications ...

Be warned, this is an EXTREMELY difficult puzzle. If you thought the standard Rubik's Cube was too hard, or if you've never tried these cube puzzles before, stay well away!
However, for those who have already mastered the original Cube, this one adds extra challenge. Just to give an idea, my Dad was a bit of a speedcuber back in the day, he could solve the original Rubik's Cube in no time at all, yet he gave up on this one very quickly!
Once you've cracked the Revenge, you can apparently ...

I had been doing the original 3x3 Rubik's cube since it first came out in 1981, so when I saw a 4x4 version, I had to buy it. It is so much more fun, given that the middle pieces aren't in place, and there is great scope for creating patterns. If you liked the original cube, you'll love this!
