I adore the orginal Vampire Diaries Series and was so excited for this book as LJ Smith is one of my fave authors. However, I was really disappointed. I know that authors writing style change over the years and you can really tell with this book. It is meant to be set just a week or so after the orginal series ended yet they have all got phones and laptops and computers. (that not a bad things just doesnt follow well with the other books). The series on ITV2 called the "Vampire Diaries finished a couple of weeks ago, (sob sob), and I really enjoyed it. :-)

The series was based on novels by L.J.Smith during the period it was on TV I decided to buy the first four novels in the series, as I know usually the novels that series are based on are even better, and I wasn't disappointed. :-)

So when the fifth book was realised I couldn't wait to buy it, as soon as it arrived I started to read it.

I'm not quite sure where to start.... I need to say that I absolutely loved the first 4 books. I read them back to back and couldn't get enough of them. So when I started with Nightfall I was full of expectations and excitement, only to be disappointed from the first page. Seriously what was all this book about??
