Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Boring!
I was looking forward to reading An Arranged Marriage as I'd read a few of Jo Beverley's previous books in the Rougue's series. I was sorely dissapointed, I had to force myself to finish this book. The main charector's Nicholas Delaney and his wife Elanor had nothing in common and i found it hard to belive that they could fall in love with one another when they hardly spent any time together. Elanor was hard to like and i found it very hard to sympathise with her as I just wanted to shake her and ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not as good as what I expected
This was my first Jo Beverley book and I have to say after reading all the reviews for this series of books I was expecting this book to be better.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book and I am going to read more in the series, but the thing that annoyed me most about this book was the love story. It didnt really seem to get off the ground and I don't understand how or when Nicholas fell in love with Elenor and vice verser. Also what was unbelievable was how quickly she seemed to get over ... Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - First in the Company Of Rogues series
This is the first book by Jo Beverley that I've read and it's the first of her "Company of Rogues" series, of which she's written many other books. However on reading this book I have some doubts as to how likely I am to want to read them.

This book features Eleanor Chivenham, a lady of 23 who is living with her brother who is a dissolute man - his house hosts orgies and other dodgy behaviour. Eleanor has survived thus far by locking her door at night but one night she's drugged and finds ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fantastic book, a great start to the series.
Having read "Christmas angel" (bk. 3) I couldn't wait to get my hands on the rest of the "Company of rogues" series. I found out about them by other reviews. I have read a few Regency romances & in the most part didn't enjoy them. But this one is totally different.

Elenore was drugged & raped by the Earl of Stainbridge. It is Lionel, Elenore's brother who arranges it so he can blackmail the Earl. Feeling guilty about what happened he goes back to the house. He finds Elenore escaping ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Another stunner from Jo Beverley
From a rather unlikely beginning this story from Jo Beverley romps away to become an involved tale of intrigue and romance. Although I have only recently discovered Jo Beverley I have enjoyed all the books I have read by her. Certainly, this book is a keeper although not quite up to the standard of Devilish or Something Wicked.
