Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Unrealistic but still a great read
I love Louise Bagshawe's books and this one didnt disappoint. Yes there are inconsistences, ie dvds in the 1980s and it is unrealistic but its lovely light read! It incorporates strength and glamour to show how 3 women can suceed through determination and friendship.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - fabuloso
I am so sick of people writing negative reviews because storylines, characters or situations are 'real or believable'

Get over yourselves and dont read fiction if it bothers you that much!

If you arent so rediculously snobby about the fantastic fantasy storylines you will love what this book has to offer.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Boring read
I have read all Louise's books and this is the first one I did not finish. I was very disappointed...I am about to buy her new book Glitz, I really hope she is back on form with this book as she is my favourite author!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Up there near The Devil You Know. Great!
Don't take full notice of the low ratings...buy this book and make up your own mind first. I finished it in three sittings and loved it!

Sometimes you need escapism, and this book took me away from the boring reality of life! Reading about women who fought the depressing odds of life certainly brightened my day! So what they were written to achieve greatness at a young age!

Buy if you enjoyed The Devil You Know which is my fav from Bagshawe. Magnus Soren and Rose get a mention in ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A brilliant novel..
My mum had read the novel before me and highly recommending it. From the first page i was hooked. The story line was great, just a little off realistic but still believable. The characters stories are all great if just a little bit stretched out.
One of the annoying things in this book is the repetitive nature of the writers figures of speech. All the same the book was extremely well layed out, especially as it jumps between three characters. There was no confusion as to who the writer was talking about. ... Read More
