Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Terrific novel - I couldn't stop reading once I started
I can't say enough good things about this book - I sat up until 3 am today to finish it. I guess the traditional elements of a romance are here, but the book seems just so much more than that. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - charming and well written
You get drawn right into this story right from the first page when Miranda disocovers that her husband has shot himself. The charecters are lively and it's beautifully written, there really isn't a duff sentance in it. My only criticism is that the feel good factor goes a bit over the top near the end of the book and it became slightly saccharine. I'll still be reading her next one.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Miranda seems to have everything then her husband is shot
This is a whitty and amusing use of language b ook.I laughed and marked sections to review later. Janos, the Hungarian boarder that Miranda has taken in says"I see.You are very wrong" to Miranda who he is in bed with. " I do not want to make love to you from Convience. If I lie in Lady Alice's bed at this moment I would wish her goodnight politely and hope that she would not steal all of the blankets."
