I never had a general "confidence" problems; but I had bought the McKenna book about staying thin (which was slowly but surely becoming a problem) and had enjoyed his writing style and his practical approach very much, so I bought this one too. This book really does work. I've read some of the negative words and all I can say is reading the book alone will not make you confident. Using the techniques and the CD provided with the book makes you confident. The second half of the book is a motivational section which really makes you want to go out and sort out your life, in every area. Buy this book.

Buying this book could be the best few quid you've ever spent. I purchased this out of curiosity really, not thinking I had any lack of confidence. But I now realise there's a lot more to confidence than just dealing with other people easily.
