This book had a lot of depth. Lots of books you read can have similar plot lines, but there were many surprises in this book to keep you guessing about what would happen. The book also concentrates on some of the aspects of small town life, such as gossip. Some of the ways in which the heroine, Maggie, irritates Dominick are hilarious, but he manages to get his own back on her most of the time.
