I just felt I had to say how much I enjoyed this book. I've been a huge fan of Emma Blair's for a number of years and this is definitely one of her best. I loved the setting in Torquay, the older actress seducing the younger boy, a forbidden romance, forced marriage, tragedy of war. Yet again, Emma Blair has written a book that you just can't put down. This time she has travelled back to the time of the Great War. Minna and her son, Tim, were wealthy until the untimely death of her husband. Since his death she has been running a small guest house in Torquay. Everything is very normal until a London actress comes to stay whilst she is acting for a season at the local theatre. Everyone's lives suddenly begin to change. This book is certainly a 'Forget-Me-Not'!
