I cannot agree more with the other positive reviews here - my little boy is 8 weeks old now and this book has been a godsend during these first few weeks. It's the only one I still keep to hand even though I have a shelf full of them.

I completely recommend this guide for any first time mums - I'd never changed a nappy in my life until my 8 week old arrived and this book has provided constant, non-judgemental and reassuring advice without preaching about set routines that seem designed to make you feel worried and guilty! I love this book! It is really easy to read and doesn't try to get you to follow a set routine. It feels like you are listening to really good advice from a friend who knows what she's talking about. It sets realistic guidelines for what you can expect your baby to be doing and when and tells you that it is perfectly normal for your baby not to be there yet either! Easy to pick up and find what you're looking for. I recommended this to all of my friends.
