This has got to be one of the funniest and original books around. It is like the baby from The Family Guy who has written the book, the thoughts and insights of the baby on a day-to-day basis. Lots of big words coming from this little nipper and some classic one liners. I really love the originality and thinking behind this book. It is quite short, but it would be considering these events are from the first 18 months of the baby.

It is such a funny and well written little book. I bought it for my partner as our son was just coming up to one at Xmas. I think you have to be a parent to enjoy this book. And when you are one, oh boy, how true this book seems to be. My little boy - 16 months old - is acting and reacting exactly like the baby in the book, as if he read it!! Spooky!
And good to know that we are not alone!

So funny! Makes me laugh and look forward to my small person being 1! you will never be able to look at toilets (Secret Baths) and Holidays (Fewer things in a strange place) in the same way again.

I have a six month old baby boy and my mother in law has just given me this book for Christmas. It is totally hilarious and spot on!!! I have been reading bits of it out loud to my husband who doesn't really read 'baby' books and like me he has laughed out loud at the similarities between the baby in the book and our little boy!!! The insight into the way "Hairy" and "Smooth" interact and deal with the various situations thrown at them is genius (and disturbingly similar to our own experiences!) This ... Read More
