Rating: - Language good, songs appalling!
This book/CD set comprises numerous short songs sung in spanish by spanish children. The book includes a simple music score (on one line, for flute/recorder/one hand on the piano!) and the words, with examples of further verses (should you wish to make the songs longer than the version on the CD), good diagrams of actions, and opportunities to add some percussion instruments. Rating: - Another set of songs please
I think this is a brilliant c.d. with catchy songs and lively tunes. I have bought this for my niece to take to Chile where she is going to be teaching orphans, and although their first language is spanish, I think these songs are so cheerful that they will enjoy singing them.

Rating: - best for younger children
Unlike the other reviewer, I actually liked these songs. I wish I could get something similar for my older children though, as this is aimed (in my view) at younger children.
I've learnt lots from it and so have the children!

Rating: - Disappointing compared with French songs book
The French songs book of the same publisher has MUCH better music and catch tunes - I found the Spanish ones to be really dry and unenticing by comparison. Just my 2 cents...
