This is book 3 in the Desparate Duchesses series and by far the strongest and the best in my opinion. Another reviewer has reviewed it and given a full synopsis, so I won't give a synopsis.
The story, although influenced strongly by Georgette Heyer is well thought out, well executed and witty. Poor Lord Strange thinks that he has changed sides as it were and fallen for a young man.

Like other books in her series this one also is vested with a complicated plot, this time revolving around masquerades. The bored doughy young duchess makes a very beautiful young man as she meanders around the house of ill repute, sparring with the hero, both with words and with blades.
Really superior writing as far as the genre goes, not giving it 5 * becasue it was atad lazy in places I thought, by what she has written before. Loved the settin gthough and the protagonists.
